Natalie DeAbreu is a Queens-based writer and photographer, with a passion for the dance floor. Receiving her master's degree in Anthropology from The New School, she has spent the last few years dedicating herself to documenting and chronicling the post-pandemic NYC rave scene. This work continues to expand beyond the documentary, utilizing both her photography skills and near-decade experience in the advertising industry to empower rising DJs in the scene. An aspiring DJ herself, she has also had the pleasure of premiering her musical work on the NYFW runway this past February. Regardless of what artistic medium her research is conducted with, her work is rooted in the raver's philosophy that is PLURR: Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, and Responsibility.
